Morning, Bucks County. If Crafts in the Meadow is on your weekend list, bring cash. It’s $10 at the gate in Richboro, and kids under 12 get in free. Chalfont and New Britain readers, though, should start with Sunday’s video on the EMS provider switch. Anyone paying for an EMS subscription should check with their borough or township before renewing.

THIS WEEK'S VIDEO · CHALFONT & NEW BRITAIN BOROUGHS
Chalfont and New Britain boroughs chose Central Bucks EMS
Sunday’s video looks at the decisions by Chalfont and New Britain boroughs to go with Central Bucks EMS. The votes date to July. The video also covers the funding questions and what to check before renewing an EMS subscription.
Why it matters: New Britain Borough designated Central Bucks its primary 911 provider July 27. That decision applies to the borough, not all addresses with a New Britain mailing address.
What to check: Confirm coverage and changeover timing with your municipality. Chalfont says Central Bucks will honor paid Chal-Brit subscriptions for the remaining applicable period with proof of payment.

PET OF THE WEEK · LAST CHANCE RANCH, QUAKERTOWN
Frodo plays well with other dogs
Frodo gets along well with other dogs, and Last Chance Ranch says he'd enjoy having one around to romp and play with. He's a young hound-terrier pup, full of what the shelter calls "puppy charm" and playful energy. Still learning and growing, he'll need some patience and guidance from his new family. In return, the shelter says, you get the "silly puppy moments." If your dog at home could use a playmate, Frodo's up for the job.
Good to know: Frodo is a male hound/terrier, about 29 pounds. Last Chance Ranch adopts by appointment only, and for dog adoptions it asks the whole household to come, along with any dogs you already have. The $350 fee, plus tax, includes neutering and core vaccines, and he's microchipped. The listing doesn't say how he does with cats or kids, so that's worth asking about.

What'd It Go For?

Answer and vote split next Thursday. Last week’s Doylestown Township home sold for $721,000.
