Morning, Bucks County.

Doylestown has 28 Porchfest stops lined up for Saturday. Porchfest is free, and the organizer has a map to help you plan your afternoon. Before we get to the weekend, this week's video looks at the October 31 move-out deadline reported for most Neshaminy Mall tenants, and the businesses expected to stay.

In this issue:

  • Doylestown's 28 Porchfest stops

  • Neshaminy Mall's next chapter

  • A $14 plate on State Street

Let's get to it.

Neshaminy Mall tenants face an October deadline

Neshaminy Mall Closing: Who's Staying and What's Next

Most remaining Neshaminy Mall tenants were told to leave by October 31, according to 6abc's September 15 report. My September 27 video covers who's staying and what could come next.

Why it matters: The reported deadline doesn't cover every business. Boscov's and AMC are expected to stay. Barnes & Noble is expected to stay, and Jean Madeline also expects to remain open.

What's next: Watch for submitted redevelopment plans and a firm demolition schedule. As of September 15, neither a demolition application nor a redevelopment plan had been submitted.

PET OF THE WEEK · BUCKS COUNTY SPCA, QUAKERTOWN

Meet Bandit

Bandit is a 5-year-old, 62-pound hound mix, and his favorite thing to do is chase his toys and then carry them everywhere. Outside, he's happy heading out for a walk or rolling in warm grass while someone pets him. The shelter says he has "classy tastebuds" and is looking for a home that will spoil him a little. If you're up for a game with his favorite toys, Bandit might be your guy.

Good to know: He needs a special diet and is neutered and microchipped. The shelter recommends a home where he's the only dog and any kids are 12 or older. He'd benefit from continuing the positive reinforcement training he's done well with there.

He's at the Quakertown shelter. Check his listing for current availability.
