Morning, Bucks County. This weekend is the last one for the pumpkin festival at None Such Farm in Buckingham. Admission and parking are free. Before you head out, the new video is worth a watch, especially if Rice’s is a regular stop or you’ve got kids in Pennridge schools.

THIS WEEK’S VIDEO · ACROSS BUCKS
Rice’s Market sets Dec. 29 as its last day
Sunday’s new video looks at Rice’s Market’s closing announcement and what is known about the property. Rice’s announced earlier this month that Dec. 29 will be its final market day, according to 6abc’s reporting on the owners’ statement.
What’s next: Rice’s regular Tuesday and Saturday market days continue until then, along with Black Friday. There’s still time for a visit before then.
What else is covered: The video also examines Neshaminy Mall’s tenant deadline and Pennridge’s middle-school consolidation proposal. Pennridge’s committee makes recommendations, and the school board makes the final decision.
FEATURED EVENT · BUCKINGHAM
One more pumpkin weekend at None Such Farm
None Such Farm wraps up its 2026 Pumpkin Festival on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24–25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. Entry and parking are free. Food and pumpkins are separate purchases.
Patch plan: Pumpkin picking and hayrides are on the festival list. Burn Creek with Cliff Riffles plays Saturday; Burn Creek returns Sunday. Leashed dogs are welcome.
Farm side: Head to 4493 York Road in Buckingham. The market’s 4458 York Road address is across the road, so use the farm address for the festival.
RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK · NEW HOPE
Bowman’s has a $29 meatloaf on the menu
If your weekend calls for a sit-down dinner after the farm, Bowman’s Tavern has meatloaf on its current menu for $29. It’s at 1600 River Road, with a New Hope mailing address.
Loaf notes: The kitchen uses dry-aged beef and Berkshire pork. Green beans and garlic-and-chive mashed potatoes come alongside it, with red wine and chives listed in the preparation.
Pull in: Regular hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m.–9 p.m., closed Monday. The restaurant lists complimentary valet parking.

PET OF THE WEEK · BUCKS COUNTY SPCA, LAHASKA
Bob wants to be wherever you are
The Bucks County SPCA calls him “a cloud with paws,” and the rest of his listing backs that up. What he likes best is spending his days hanging around with his people. Whatever room you’re in, he plans to be right there next to you. If you’d like some company around the house this fall, Bob’s at the SPCA in Lahaska and ready to meet you.
Good to know: Bob is a 9-year-old, 60-pound Lab mix. The shelter recommends a home with kids 10 and older, and any dogs already in your home will need to meet him before adoption. He’s neutered and microchipped. He’s also heartworm negative and current on his vaccines and flea and tick prevention.
Bucks County SPCA, Lahaska. Availability can change, so check the listing first.
What’d It Go For?
A garden-lined path leads up to the covered porch of this Riegelsville Colonial. It has four bedrooms and two baths, with about 2,700 square feet. It closed Oct. 2.
Answer and vote split next Thursday. Last week’s Langhorne home sold for $525,000.
